Delhi, 4 November (H.S.): Senior Congress leader and Member of Parliament Rahul Gandhi, addressing an election rally in Aurangabad, Bihar, on Tuesday, accused Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of working on the instructions of those in the central government.Gandhi asserted that Nitish Kumar has eliminated all employment options for the state's youth.

Taking aim at the current National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government in Bihar, Gandhi said that Kumar’s goal is to turn the youth of Bihar into manual laborers. He also remarked that question paper leaks have become commonplace in the state, a situation that benefits financially privileged students.

Gandhi further alleged that the central government wants young people to remain engrossed in making social media reels to distract them from critical issues such as education, health, and employment.

This is the new addiction of the 21st century, he stated. He elaborated that the government desires this distraction so that the youth will not hold it accountable for problems concerning education, healthcare, and job opportunities.

The Congress MP claimed that the central Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government is involved in vote theft in Bihar because it is aware that the NDA cannot win the assembly election. He warned that if the BJP were to come to power in Bihar, it would form a government that is hostile to the extremely backward classes and socially marginalized Dalits.

The BJP knows they cannot win the election in Bihar. They have only one path to victory: stealing votes, Gandhi declared. However, the people of Bihar are vigilant; no one can steal votes from the people of Bihar.
