Delhi, 25 October (H.S.): Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, a prominent star campaigner for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), is set to address three public rallies across Bihar on Saturday as part of the ongoing assembly election campaign. He will be canvassing for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidates in the districts of Khagaria, Munger, and Nalanda.
The BJP publicized the senior leader's itinerary on its official X handle.
-Shah's first public meeting is scheduled for 12:45 PM at the Jannayak Karpoori Thakur ground in Khagaria.
-He will then proceed to Munger to address a second gathering at the Navagarhi High School ground at 2:15 PM.
-The minister will conclude his day's campaign with a final rally at the Shram Kalyan ground in Nalanda at 3:45 PM.
In his recent campaign speeches, Shah has consistently targeted the leaders of the opposition Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance).
During a rally on Friday, he strongly criticized Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Lalu Prasad Yadav, accusing him of attempting to bring back a Jungle Raj (a reign of lawlessness) to Bihar. Shah stated that by giving a ticket to the son of the late strongman Shahabuddin, Yadav was signaling a return to an era of crime and fear.
He contrasted this by highlighting the NDA's selection of Anand Mishra, a former Indian Civil Service officer, as a candidate, portraying it as a move toward good governance.
