Bharuch, 08 Jan

(HS):- Three people in a car died and four others injured in a road accident on

National Highway-48 near Ankaleshwar in Bharuch district of Gujarat on

Wednesday morning. The injured have been shifted to a hospital in Bharuch.

The ill-fated car was

returning to Palghar in Maharashtra after attending a religious function at

Ajmer. The car was hit by a speeding vehicle from behind. The jerk was so

strong that the car collided with a

truck coming from the opposite direction. The accident led to a traffic jam on

the highway.

The deceased have

been identified as Tahir Sheikh (32), Aryan Yogle (23) and Mudassar Jat (25). The

Fire Brigade officials rescued the injured and rushed them to a private

hospital in Bharuch. Panoli Police staff also reached the spot and are

investigating further.
