New Delhi, 8 January (H.S.): Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday met Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at the Finance Ministry in North Block. During this, Chouhan discussed about the upcoming Union Budget.

Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Chouhan met Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at the Finance Ministry in North Block. During this, both the leaders discussed about the Union Budget 2025-26 and gave suggestions.

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that there has been an extensive discussion with the Finance Minister on the issue of agriculture and rural development in the Union Budget. Suggestions have been given regarding what can be better for these departments in the budget. Chouhan said, We have placed the suggestions received from the brothers and sisters working in the rural area in front of the Finance Minister.
