5 January (H.S.): Blankets were distributed to the needy at Shreeshchandra

Barat Ghar by Minister of State with Independent Charge, Nitin Agarwal. In his

address, he said that the government stands with all the needy and all kinds of

government facilities are being provided to every needy and the Municipal

Council has made arrangements for night shelters and bonfires to protect them

from the cold. He said that he is working to establish Hardoi as a model

district and all possible assistance will be provided to every eligible and

poor family of the area. Chairman Sukhsagar Mishra Madhur said that the

distribution of blankets will provide relief to a large number of people from

the cold. Councilors of various wards also expressed their views on this

occasion. People looked very happy after receiving the blanket. On this

occasion, Deputy District Magistrate Sadar Sushil Mishra, District Information

Officer Santosh Kumar and all the councilors were present.
