- Record number of tourists in Kaziranga

Guwahati, 05 January (HS): After Prime Minister Narendra Modi's night stay in Kaziranga and his appeal to the people, a historic increase has been recorded in the number of tourists in Kaziranga National Park.

Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Sunday that 1.6 lakh tourists visited Kaziranga in the last three months, which is the highest in the last 20 years. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has emerged as the biggest ambassador of 'Brand India'.
