Mumbai, 03 Jan (HS):-The Central Bureau of

Investigation (CBI) has filed an offence against a Police Sub Inspector of its department and others for misusing their position to earn money illegally.

Following raids at 20 places in Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi Rs 55 lakhs

were recovered. The accused are suspected to have accepted bribe through web

accounts and Hawala channels via an agent. Police also seized documents

relating to property transactions worth Rs 1.78 crores and financial

transactions of Rs 1.63 crores
