Sribhumi (Assam), 03 January (HS): A seven-year-old girl killed in a horrific road accident in Kanishail area of Sribhumi town, while her younger sister has been seriously injured.

According to the information received, a mini truck hit the girl named Humaira Siddiqui, killing her on the spot. Her sister Hafsa Siddiqui was seriously injured, who has been taken to the hospital for treatment.

Local people claim that the accident happened due to the absence of side barricades at that place. After the incident, heavy tension spread in the area. Angry locals demonstrated against the police and vehicles.
