Private Schools Asso assails JKBOSE for anti-student order

Jammu, 2 January (H.S.): Private School Association Rajouri on Thursday strongly criticised Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education for allegedly looting students on the name of late fee.

While addressing a press conference here today president of the Association, Abdul Raouf Dar and vice president Lokesh Bakshi criticised BOSE for charging huge late fee and penalty fee from students and schools which is not acceptable.

They blamed the JKBOSE for looting poor students just to generate revenue of the Board. Chairman JKBOSE was strongly criticised for issuing dictorial orders without taking stakeholders into confidence and without taking into account of the geographic and topographic conditions of the areas where from the poor students hail. It was further stated that the JKBOSE un-necessarily overburdened the school management and have limited itself only for the conduct of examination and the conduct of exams has also become a joke on the hands of JKBOSE authorities.

Others who were present during press conference include Pervaiz Ahmed Choudhary general secretary, Abdul Rashid Mugha Zonal president for Rajouri and others.
