Delhi, 2 January (H.S.): Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will release the historical book 'Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh: Through the Ages' at Dr. Ambedkar International Center in New Delhi today. This book focuses on Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Published in Hindi and English, this book is the result of a joint effort of National Book Trust India and Indian Council of Historical Research.

According to a release issued by the Press and Information Office (PIB) of the Government of India on Wednesday, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will be the chief guest at the release ceremony. Eminent writers, educationists, officials of the Ministry of Education and other dignitaries will also be present at the program. An overview of 'Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh: Through the Ages' is important for subject experts as well as less knowledgeable people. This book, compiled in seven volumes, gives a glimpse of the three thousand years of history of the region.
