New Delhi, 14 January (H.S.): Just before the Delhi Assembly elections, on Tuesday, former BJP councillor from Dabri ward and vice-president of Najafgarh district Rekha Vinay Chauhan joined the Aam Aadmi Party. Along with her, Vinay Chauhan, who was a councillor candidate from BJP in 2020, and Virendra Goyal, Congress candidate from Adarsh Nagar Ward-15, and many other leaders also joined the Aam Aadmi Party.
Aam Aadmi Party's national convenor Arvind Kejriwal welcomed everyone to the party by wearing a turban. Arvind Kejriwal said that the Aam Aadmi Party family is continuously getting stronger. Good people from different parties are constantly joining the Aam Aadmi Party family to take forward the politics of work. The arrival of these people will further strengthen the Aam Aadmi Party.
During this time, along with Rekha Vinay Chauhan, corporation councillors Dultama Chaudhary, Rajendra Gupta, Om Prakash Chavadia and Harkesh Pandey also joined the Aam Aadmi Party.
Also, Master Jai Kishan Goyal, Chairman of Ramlila Committee Adarsh Nagar, Naresh Tandon, President of Ram Mandir and Vice President of Majlis Park RWA, Tarun Kumar Gupta, General Secretary of Ramlila Committee Adarsh Nagar also joined Aam Aadmi Party.
