Ranchi, 14 January (HS): Ten trains will be operated from Ranchi Railway Division from January 16 for the Kumbh Mela organized in Prayagraj. These trains coming from different areas will pass through Ranchi Railway Station, where a large number of people of Ranchi will be able to travel to Kumbh.

Minister of State for Defense and Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth met Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and discussed with him that maximum number of trains should be operated from Ranchi or via Ranchi for Kumbh. He was requested that Kumbh trains should be operated from Ranchi route.

With this, people from many districts including Ranchi, Ramgarh, Khunti, Hazaribagh, Lohardaga, Gumla, Simdega, Koderma, Chatra, Latehar, Purulia, Jamshedpur, Saraikela Kharsawan will be able to travel to Kumbh.

These special trains running for Kumbh on different dates will facilitate the pilgrimage of the passengers here.

The Minister of State for Defense has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav for the operation of these trains.

Seth said that this is the first time that Ranchi has received such a large number of trains for the Kumbh Mela. Every train will operate through Ranchi station and sufficient number of seats will also be made available from here. Railways is making every kind of arrangement so that the passengers do not face any kind of problem. General class, sleeper class and AC class bogies will also be available in all these trains. Adequate reserved seats will be arranged for the passengers traveling from Ranchi.

The Minister of State for Defence has urged the people that more and more Sanatanis should go to this Maha Kumbh being held after 12 years and participate in this great festival of Sanatan.

These trains will be operated

- Kumbh Mela Special from Ranchi to Tundla (08067/08968) on 19 January.

- Kumbh Mela Special from Bhubaneswar to Tundla (08425) on 22 January, 5 February, 19 February and 25 February.

- Kumbh Mela Special from Tundla to Bhubaneswar (08426) on 24 January, 7 February, 21 February and 28 February.

- Kumbh Mela Special from Titilagarh to Tundla (08314) on 16 January, 23 January, 6 February, 20 February and 25 February.

-Tundla to Titlagarh (08313) Kumbh Mela Special on 18 January, 25 January, 8 February, 22 February and 01 March.

-Tirupati to Banaras (07107) Kumbh Mela Special on 18 January, 8 February, 15 February and 22 February.

-Banaras to Vijayawada (07108) Kumbh Mela Special on 20 January, 10 February, 17 February and 24 February.

-Narsapur to Banaras (07109) Kumbh Mela Special on 26 January, 2 February.

-Banaras to Narsapur (07110) Kumbh Mela Special will run on 27 January and 3 February.

These trains will operate a total of 38 times till March 1.
