New Delhi, 13 January (H.S.): Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Jitan Ram Manjhi reviewed the performance of the schemes and programs being run by Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) for the development of Khadi and Village Industries (KVI) sector in the country.

The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises said in a statement issued on Monday that Union MSME Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has reviewed the performance of the schemes and programs being run by KVIC for the development of Khadi and Village Industries sector in the country.

On this occasion, KVIC Chairman Manoj Kumar, KVIC members, MSME Secretary, Joint Secretary (ARI), Economic Advisor of MSME, CEO of KVIC and other officials of MSME Ministry and KVIC were also present.

The ministry said the Union minister emphasised the need to broaden efforts through a focused approach on implementation of schemes to boost the KVI sector in the country.
