New Delhi, 10 January (H.S.): Due to the boom in the manufacturing sector, the growth rate of industrial production in the country has reached 5.2 percent in the month of November. This is the highest level of industrial production growth in the last six months.

In the month of October, the growth rate of industrial production was recorded at 3.5 percent.

In November 2023, the growth rate of industrial production was 2.5 percent, according to the data released by the National Statistical Office (NSO) on Friday.

According to the data, in November 2024, the mining sector grew at the rate of 1.9 percent and the production of electricity grew at the rate of 4.4 percent. The NSO data shows that the Industrial Production Index has increased by 4.5 percent during April to November in the current financial year. However, the Industrial Production Index had increased by 6.5 percent during the same period 1 year ago.
