- BTC's emphasis on infrastructure development
Kokrajhar (Assam), 10 January (HS): Dr. Nilut Swargiari, Executive Councilor (EM) of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Information and Public Relations, PHE etc. The department on Friday laid the foundation stone of an important road construction project from Chubura Chuburi Pathar LP School to Noor Hussain's house in 66-No. Dhansiri VCDC. The project has been launched with the aim of improving road connectivity in the area.
During the foundation stone ceremony, Dr. Swargiari emphasized BTC's strong commitment to improve road infrastructure and ensure better connectivity throughout BTR. He said that under the able leadership of Chief Executive Councilor Pramod Bodo, BTC is focusing on the development agenda, which includes construction and maintenance of roads, to ensure better accessibility and promote overall development in the area.
Dr. Swargiari said, Infrastructure development is central to our vision for BTR. We believe that the foundation of a progressive Bodoland lies in improving connectivity. This road project will not only facilitate travel but also contribute to socio-economic upliftment of the surrounding areas.
Dr. Swargiari said that BTC is making continuous efforts for better living standards and overall development of BTR with focus on key areas such as infrastructure, education and employment.
Several local leaders, community representatives and government officials were also present at the ceremony.
