Guwahati, 31 December (HS): Based on intelligence information, a team of Special Task Force (STF) of Assam Police, led by Inspector Kapil Pathak, raided Khanapara in Dispur police station area of Guwahati.

In this operation, a person was arrested, from whom 28.58 grams of heroin packed in 21 vials and cash were recovered. Further investigation is underway.
