Ahmedabad, 6 July (H.S): On Saturday, Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to visit the city of Ahmedabad in Gujarat, where he will address party workers and meet with the families of those who lost their lives in recent tragedies, such as the Rajkot game zone fire, boat capsize incident in Vadodara, and Morbi bridge collapse.

This visit comes amid a clash between BJP and Congress workers outside the Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) office over Gandhi's alleged anti-Hindu remarks in the Lok Sabha. As a result of the clash, both sides lodged complaints against each other and FIRs were registered, leading to the arrest of five Congress workers.

During his visit, Gandhi is also expected to meet with the family members of these arrested workers. The clash occurred on July 2 after BJP's youth wing members protested outside Congress's state headquarters against Gandhi's remarks. The clash resulted in injuries to five policemen and two FIRs were registered by the police. Despite this incident, Gandhi's visit to Gujarat shows his commitment to addressing issues and standing by the families of victims in times of tragedy.
