Indore Airport threatened with bomb blast


Indore, 05 October (HS): There has been a threat to bomb the Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar International Airport in Indore, the economic capital of Madhya Pradesh. After this, security has been increased in the entire area including the airport. Security agencies are constantly checking the planes coming and going here. However, no information has been received about the person who sent the e-mail at the moment. The matter is of Friday, but the information has come to light on Saturday.

This e-mail came on the official e-mail ID of the airport's security in-charge. The person who threatened has used the dark web. After receiving the e-mail, the security in-charge immediately contacted the Aerodrome police station and informed about the matter. The Aerodrome police has registered a case against the unknown person who sent the email late in the evening and alerted the security and other agencies about this. The police is investigating the matter with the help of cyber cell.

According to the Aerodrome police station, the airport's chief security officer Surendra Singh Kaurav has filed a case. The mail reads, 'Remember, we have taken on the world's most powerful countries alone.' Jai Mahakaal and Jai Adi Shakti are also written at the end of the mail. The threatening email came from General Shiva's mail ID with the subject name NIL. The Aerodrome police have registered a case under section 351(4) of the BNS.

Indore airport has received threat for the fifth time in the last 10 months. Earlier, Indore airport has received threats of bombing on April 29, May 18, June 18 and June 20 through email.
