New Delhi, July 26 (HS): A function has been organized in honour of the immortal martyrs on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Silver Jubilee at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters (detail) located on Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Marg in the national capital Delhi. Party President and Union Minister JP Nadda will address this function at 3:45 pm.

BJP has shared the details of the program of party president JP Nadda on x handle. It is worth mentioning that the Indian Army won the Kargil war on 26 July 1999, defeating Pakistan. This war was fought for about two months. Initially it was considered to be an infiltration of Pakistan, but after the search operation in the Line of Control, the planned strategy of Pakistan was revealed. The Indian Army realized that the attack was planned on a large scale.

After this, the Government of India launched 'Operation Vijay' and sent soldiers to the Kargil area. This war demonstrated the unwavering determination and indomitable spirit of the Indian armed forces. The Kargil war is a proof of Pakistan's evil intentions. The then Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, taught Pakistan a lesson and made the whole world realize India's valor and strength. At the same time, the superpowers who were sympathizing with Pakistan were given such a befitting reply in a blunt tone that they were left speechless. India also lost many of its brave warriors in this war and their supreme sacrifice became an example for the country.
