Guwahati, 26 July (HS). Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma today distributed appointment letters to 465 candidates of the state.

Later the Chief Minister said that he is continuously taking forward his efforts to provide employment to his youth in a transparent manner.

He said that after giving jobs to 97,505 candidates earlier, today in a special function at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, appointment letters were formally distributed to 465 candidates for various departments.

He said that they are also moving strongly towards completing 50 thousand additional appointments by May 2025.
