Moradabad, 11 June (HS): There are 61 beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) who, even after allotment of the building, are not submitting the required records to the authority to attach it on the PM portal.

Not only this, no money is being deposited in relation to the building. Moradabad Development Authority has sent a notice on Tuesday to the given address of such beneficiaries, warning them of cancelling their allotment. Authority's property officer RRP Singh said that Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban)

houses have been constructed and allotted by MDA in Dhaka, Lakri Fazalpur, Sonakpur and Shahpur Tigri of the city. Under the scheme, houses were allotted on the basis of registration done by about 1700 people. Under the scheme, the beneficiary had to deposit an amount of Rs 2 lakh after allotment.

Of these, 61 people have been found who have not deposited this amount. Not only this, they did not provide the records which were asked for by sending a letter to be attached on the PM portal. Not only this, the mobile numbers given by the applicants are also switched off. Even after sending the employees to their addresses, no trace of them could be found. He said that final notice has been issued to 61 such beneficiaries.
