Domjur (Howrah), June 11 (HS):. Recently, a daring robbery took place in a famous gold jewellery shop in Raniganj. Two days later, a robbery has taken place in a jewellery shop in Domjur of Howrah district. A gang of robbers attacked a jewellery shop in Domjur, Howrah on Tuesday afternoon. The employees of the jewellery shop were beaten with gun butts and the robbers fled with a lot of jwellery from the shop.

According to local sources, the miscreants entered the jewellery shop wearing helmets. When the shop owner tried to stop them, they put a gun on his head and looted everything. Not only this, he was also hit on the head with the butt of the gun. The shop owner has been admitted to the hospital. The entire incident has been recorded in CCTV. Everyone''s face is clearly visible in the CCTV, even though they are wearing helmets. The shop employees claimed that everyone was talking in Hindi. This incident has once again raised the question whether Bihar is connected to this robbery like Raniganj?

A woman working in that shop said that around 12:30 two people entered as customers. They asked to show a pendant. Then two more came. Then they attacked us. All of them had pistols in their hands. We were threatened with death and were asked to keep quiet.

The Police has started investigating the case. The CCTV footage is being scanned to identify the accused.
