Kokrajhar (Assam), 27 April (HS). Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has said that those families in which no person has got a government job will be given preference in jobs. The Chief Minister said that 50 thousand government jobs will be given during the current year. New rules are being made regarding these jobs so that many people from the same family do not get Government jobs. He said that a grace of 10 marks will be given to the candidates from families where no one has a government job.

The Chief Minister was talking to journalists after attending a program in Manas today. He said that the people of Bodoland region love him very much. He will work for the all-round development of Bodoland. Roads will be built in the areas where roads have not been built, after the elections are over. He said that the victory of BJP supported UPPL candidate Jayant Basumtari on Kokrajhar seat is certain. Congress and BPF will remain at second and third position.
