All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) chief and candidate from Dhubri Lok Sabha seat Maulana Badruddin Ajmal has said that Akhil Gogoi is a useless man, hence he does not consider it appropriate to respond to his words. Ajmal said that the stature of a person like Akhil Gogoi has to be increased by replying to his words. Ajmal was talking to journalists after attending a program in Dhubri on Saturday. Ajmal was responding to Akhil Gogoi's accusation against BJP and AIUDF of doing communal politics over Hindu and Muslim religions.

Reacting to a statement by Minister Jayant Mallabarua, Ajmal said that this time all the ministers from BJP and AGP will be picked up and thrown into the Brahmaputra. On a question, Ajmal said that this time also his competition is with himself. While Congress candidate Rakibul Hussain will be out in the very first phase, NDA candidate Javed Islam is a non-entity. Ajmal said that last time Ajmal had broken his own record by 5 lakh votes. This time we will break it by 8 lakh votes. During this, he answered many questions of journalists.
