UAV crash Update: Inquiry ordered


Jaisalmer, 25 April (HS): A reconnaissance aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed at around 10 am on Thursday morning, 30 kilometers from Jaisalmer district headquarters. The accident destroyed crops of Pithla-Jaziya village. There is no report of any life-threatening injury in the accident. The Air Force has confirmed the accident on its official handle.

After getting information about the accident, Air Force officials along with the district administration reached the spot. According to the information received from the Fire Brigade, it is a UAV aircraft which is unmanned and works to monitor the activities happening in the border area. It works to continuously patrol the border area.

Noteworthy, the UAV reconnaissance aircraft is a military aircraft. It is used to collect imagery intelligence, signals intelligence and other intelligence information.
