Jaipur, 21 April (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Sunday that the public is punishing the Congress for its sins and that the party, which formerly won 400 seats, will only be able to fight 300 seats in 2024 Lok Sabha election.

During the first phase of voting, half of Rajasthan penalized Congress. Rajasthan, which is full of patriotism, understands that Congress would never make India strong, Modi remarked during an election rally in Jalore district. He stated that the country does not wish to revert to pre-2014 circumstances.

The Congress has hollowed out the country by promoting nepotism and corruption. And today, the country is unhappy with Congress and punishing it for its transgressions. The Congress party is responsible for its current situation... The party that previously won 400 seats is unable to contest 300 seats on its own, he stated.

Modi was speaking at a mass meeting in Bhinmal, Jalore district, in favor of BJP candidate Lumbaram Chaudhary. There are 25 Lok Sabha seats in Rajasthan. The first round of voting for 12 seats took place on April 19, with the remaining 13 going to vote in the second phase on April 26.
