Delhi, 26 February (H.S): Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate 'Bharat Tex,' India's largest textile event, in the national capital on Monday. The event, which is expected to be attended by participants from over 100 countries, will cover a vast exhibition area of 22 lakh sq ft and will witness the signing of 46 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) during the four-day event.

According to the Textile Ministry, this event aims to showcase the strength and diversity of India's textile industry to an international audience, making it a significant platform for promoting Brand India.

The event is also expected to bring together over 3,000 trade buyers, providing a significant boost to the country's textile exports and fostering collaborations and partnerships with foreign nations. This event highlights the Indian government's efforts to promote and strengthen the textile sector, which is a vital contributor to the country's economy.
