Biswanath (Assam), 30 December (HS): There has been a stir on Monday after the body of a 40-year-old woman was found inside the house in Gutibari of Balijuri under Satia police station. There is a suspicion of the woman being murdered and suffocated to death. This murder has shocked the entire Gutibari village.

According to the information received, Mithun Bauri (24) and his wife Anamika Das were living together in the house of Rajiv Sonar, working in Arunachal Pradesh and resident of Gutibari, for the last about five months. On Monday the body of the woman was recovered, although the husband of the deceased woman, Mithun Bauri, is absconding since morning.

Meanwhile, Circle Officer Akash Deep Kakoti of Na-Duwar Revenue Circle and officials of Itakhola Police Station have reached the spot and are investigating the matter. It is worth mentioning that the home address on the Aadhar card of both Mithun and Anamika is Harigaon and Bam Parvatiya of Tezpur. The real reasons of the incident could not be ascertained till the time of filing this report.
