Delhi, 28 December (H.S.): The residents of Delhi started their Saturday morning with an overcast sky, as the weather department predicted light rain and issued a yellow alert for the day.

The minimum temperature recorded by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) was 12.7 degrees Celsius, which is six notches higher than the usual for this time of the year. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 16 degrees Celsius, as per the forecast by IMD. This sudden change in weather has left Delhiites feeling a bit chilly after experiencing warmer temperatures in the past few days. People have been advised to carry umbrellas and raincoats, as well as to be cautious while commuting on the roads due to the possibility of light rain.

The city is expected to experience a slight drop in temperatures throughout the day, bringing some relief from the warm weather. Overall, Delhiites can expect a mild and pleasant day ahead, with the possibility of some showers to cool things down.
