The police have arrested a Bangladeshi intruder living in India with fake documents, and his host from Kumarganj area of South Dinajpur district of West Bengal.
On Monday, both were produced in Balurghat court from where they were sent to police custody for seven days.
According to police sources, the name of the arrested Bangladeshi intruder is Rabiul Islam. He is a resident of Dandapani area of Dinajpur, Bangladesh. According to police sources, he crossed the border about a year ago and entered South Dinajpur and took shelter in the house of 42-year-old Khairul Mandal, a resident of Zakirpur in Kumarganj. When the matter came to the notice of the district police, they took action. Apart from arresting both the people, the police have also recovered Robiul's fake Aadhar card. Efforts are being made to find out where this document was made.
