Dhubri (Assam), 22 December (HS): Police launched a massive drive against child marriage in Dhubri district on Saturday night.

Tamarhat police took action and arrested three people involved in child marriage. The arrested persons have been identified as Alhadi Sheikh, Mahabul Haque and Jahirul Sheikh.

Along with this, 10 people were arrested in Golakganj, 13 in Gauripur and 16 in Bilasipara in cases related to child marriage. Officials have said that this strict action against child marriage will continue in the coming days.
