New Delhi, 21 December (HS): Before the Delhi Assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party's national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has made a big move. He has announced Dr. Ambedkar scholarship for Dalit students. Kejriwal announced Dr. Ambedkar scholarship for Dalit students in Delhi in a press conference on Saturday. On this occasion, Kejriwal targeted the BJP and the central government. He said that three days ago, Home Minister Amit Shah mocked Baba Saheb Ambedkar during the discussion on the Constitution in the Rajya Sabha.

Kejriwal said that even when Baba Saheb was alive, people around him used to make fun of him throughout his life. Parliament exists because of Baba Saheb and no one would have thought that he would be mocked from that Parliament. Kejriwal said that we condemn this.

Kejriwal said that I am making a big announcement in honor of Baba Saheb. Now no child from Dalit community will be deprived of higher education due to lack of money. Kejriwal said that today I announce the Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship, under which any child from Dalit community who wants to study in any top university of the world can take admission in that university, the Delhi government will bear all the expenses of his studies. This scholarship will also be applicable for the children of government employees.
