Nagpur, 18 Dec (HS):- “I will utilise the

opportunity given to me even after losing the Assembly election”, BJP leader

Ram Shinde said after filing nomination papers for Legislative Council Chairman’s

position.

Shinde said earlier his name was discussed for the

party’s state unit president’s position. He filed nomination papers on

Wednesday. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath

Shinde and Ajit Pawar; Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Chandrakant Patil were

present.

Shinde also received support from the Opposition

members. His election is considered unopposed, as no other nomination form was

received.
