Pressure on stock market in early trade, Sensex and Nifty move in limited range

New Delhi, 12 December (H.S.): Pressure is seen in the domestic stock market during early trade on Thursday. Today's trade started with a slight decline. After the market opened, the stock market recovered and reached the green mark with the support of buying. However, this boom could not last long. The market movement weakened due to the start of selling after the first 20 minutes of trading. After the first 1 hour of trading, Sensex was trading with a weakness of 0.01 percent and Nifty with a weakness of 0.09 percent.

After the first 1 hour of trading, among the big stocks of the stock market, the shares of Tech Mahindra, Wipro, TCS, Bharti Airtel and Infosys were trading with strength ranging from 2 percent to 0.77 percent. On the other hand, shares of Apollo Hospital, Titan Company, Tata Consumer Products, Tata Motors and Coal India were seen trading with a decline of 1.51 percent to 0.97 percent.

So far, active trading was taking place in 2,350 shares in the stock market. Out of these, 916 shares were trading in the green mark by making profits, while 1,434 shares were trading in the red mark by suffering losses.

Similarly, out of the 30 stocks included in the Sensex, 11 stocks remained in the green mark with the support of buying. On the other hand, 19 stocks were trading in the red mark due to selling pressure. While out of the 50 stocks included in the Nifty, 16 stocks were seen trading in the green mark and 34 stocks in the red mark.

The BSE Sensex opened today with a weakness of 49.38 points at 81,476.76 points. As soon as the trading started, due to the support of buying, this index jumped to 81,680.97 points, but after this, due to the pressure of selling, its movement weakened. After the initial 1 hour of trading amid continuous buying and selling in the market, at 10:15 am, the Sensex was trading at a level of 81,517.75 points with a weakness of 8.39 points.

Like the Sensex, NSE's Nifty today started trading at the level of 24,604.45 points, falling 37.35 points. As soon as the market opened, this index jumped to 24,675.25 points with the support of buying, but after this, due to the start of selling, the index declined. After the initial 1 hour of trading amid continuous buying and selling in the market, at 10:15 am, Nifty was trading at 24,619.15 points with a decline of 22.65 points.

Earlier on the last trading day on Wednesday, the Sensex closed at 81,526.14 points with a symbolic strength of 16.09 points i.e. 0.02 percent. At the same time, Nifty ended Wednesday's trading at 24,641.80 points with a gain of 31.75 points i.e. 0.13 percent.
