Nvidia beats Apple to become biggest company in the world

New Delhi, 6 November (H.S.):

Nvidia has overtaken Apple to become the world's most valuable company for the second time. Nvidia has overtaken Apple on the basis of market capitalization. During trading, Nvidia's stock closed with a jump of about 3 percent at $ 3.43 trillion, which is more than Apple's market cap of $ 3.38 trillion. On the other hand, Microsoft remained at the third position with a market cap of $ 3.1 trillion.

Under the leadership of Nvidia's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jensen Huang, the company overtook Apple for the first time in June, but then it was only for one day. Graphics chip maker Nvidia has overtaken Apple on the basis of market value in terms of becoming the world's largest company. Nvidia recorded revenue of $ 30 billion in the second quarter ended July 28, which is 15 percent more than the previous quarter and 122 percent more than last year.

The company's CEO Jensen Huang said in a statement on Wednesday that there is a lot of demand for their 'Hopper' chips and there is also a lot of excitement about the upcoming 'Blackwell' chips. Large-scale upgrades are taking place in data centers for AI and fast computing technology, due to which the company's earnings have reached record levels. It is worth noting that in this era of artificial intelligence, Nvidia, founded in 1991 to make chips for playing 3D games, has made its mark in recent years for a very different reason.
