23 November (HS): In Sisamau by-election, SP's Naseem Solanki defeated BJP

candidate Suresh Awasthi by nearly 10,000 votes. BJP candidate Suresh Awasthi

accepted the defeat and said that he was left behind in the elections due to

internal conflict. BJP's Suresh Awasthi got 58069 votes, whereas the winning SP

candidate Naseem Solanki got a total of 68691 votes. Naseem Solanki was leading

in the initial trends. This trend continued from the first round to the last

round. Naseem Solanki's father-in-law was also an MLA from this seat and her

husband Irfan Solanki was also an MLA. But he is currently in jail due to the

trial.
