New Delhi, November 20 (HS): Voting began at 7 am today on Wednesday in six states of the country including 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra and 38 seats in the second phase of assembly elections in Jharkhand.

By-elections are being held on 15 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Kerala and Uttarakhand. By-election is being held on Nanded Lok Sabha seat of Maharashtra. Voting has started on nine seats in Uttar Pradesh, four seats in Punjab, one seat in Kerala and one seat in Uttarakhand.
