New Delhi, 02 November (HS): A case of breach of security of Tata-led Air India has come to light. A cartridge has been found from a seat in the airline's Dubai-Delhi flight number AI916. The matter is under investigation.

In a statement issued on Saturday, an Air India spokesperson said, On October 27, after coming to Delhi from Dubai, a cartridge was found in the pocket of a seat of our flight number AI916. According to the spokesperson, all the passengers of the plane had landed safely. Air India, strictly following the prescribed security protocol, immediately lodged a complaint with the airport police, which is under investigation.

The spokesperson said that on October 27, after getting information about a cartridge being found in the pocket of the Air India plane, the pilot had to immediately land flight number AI916 at Delhi airport. The spokesperson said that the plane took off from Dubai and landed at Indira Gandhi Airport in the capital New Delhi. After this all the passengers landed safely. However, without giving details of the incident, the airline company said that Air India has lodged a complaint with the airport police strictly following the prescribed security protocol. It is worth mentioning that for the last 15 days, most of the airlines of the country were getting information about bombs being placed in the planes through social media platform 'X' posts and other means.
