New Delhi, November 14 (HS): The 43rd India International Trade Fair (IITF) will begin today at the Bharat Mandapam Complex located at Pragati Maidan in the national capital Delhi. This fair will run till November 27. The fair will be inaugurated by Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal.
Only business class people will be allowed entry in this fair from November 14 to 18. It will be opened for the general public from November 19. This time, along with stalls from all the states of the country, some foreign stalls have also been included in the fair.
The trade fair will be open for the general public from November 19 to 27 from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm. However, entry will be closed from 5:30 pm. Like every year, this time also the price of tickets for different days in the fair will be different. The ticket price for the first four days will be Rs 150. For children, it will cost Rs 60. The same rate will be applicable on weekends i.e. Saturday-Sunday. From November 19, the ticket price will be reduced to Rs 80 and Rs 40.
Entry from these gates
- Visitors will not be allowed to enter from gate numbers 5-A, 5-B, 7, 8 and 9.
- Visitors will enter from gate numbers 1, 4, 6 and 10.
- Exhibitors will enter from gate numbers 1, 4, 5-B and 10.
- Media personnel will enter from gate number 5-B.
- ITPO officials will enter from gate numbers 9 and 1.
- There will be no entry to the trade fair after 5:30 pm on all days.
- Tickets will not be sold at Pragati Maidan. Tickets will be sold online and at select metro stations (except Supreme Court metro station).
- Dropping points for driver-driven vehicles, taxis and autos will be on the service lane opposite Gate No. 3 and Gate No. 7 of ITPO and near the entrance to the basement parking.
- Entry may be closed earlier anytime in view of public safety.
