- Raas Mahotsav is going to start after a few hours

Nalbari (Assam), 14 November (HS): Along with various places in the state, the 91st Sri Srihari Mandir Raas Mahotsav is going to start in Nalbari in a few hours. The preparations are almost complete.

For the first time, many new experiments have been started in the Nalbari Raas Mahotsav. Arrangements have also been made to provide online tickets for theaters. At the same time, from live Raas puppets to various other new things have been included in the Raas this time.

Along with the local handicrafts of Nalbari, many traditional products of the Northeast and the country are visible in the Raas fair. Traders from every corner of the country have arrived to participate in the Raas fairs.

On the occasion of the auspicious inauguration of the Raas Mahotsav, i.e. on Friday, Arun Govil and Deepika Chikhalia, who play the role of Ram-Sita in Doordarshan's Ramayana serial, will be present with their 16-member team.

At the same time, preparations have been completed for organizing Raas Mahotsav at various places in the state including Palasbari, Shivsagar Majuli.

Raas is being organized at every nook and corner of Majuli, the heart of Satriya culture. Rather, you can say that Majuli, the world's largest river island, has become Krishna-filled with Raas these days. Many people are arriving from various parts of the state and country to see Raas.
