Sivasagar (Assam), 6 October (HS): A person was murdered this morning in ward number 6 of Nazira Laxmijan tea estate. According to the information, a person named Tuklu Bhumij was killed by a person named Bimal Orang by shooting an arrow from a bow.

Tuklu Bhumij died on the spot as soon as the arrow entered the middle of his chest. Bimal Orang and Tuklu Bhumij had an argument over something last night.

As a result, Bimal Orang reached Tuklu Bhumij's house in the morning and committed the murder. Geleki police rushed the spot, recovered the body and sent it to the hospital for post-mortem. The accused Bimal Orang is absconding since the incident.
