Nagpur, 30 Oct (HS): Cyber police in Nagpur uncovered a Rajasthan-based module of the Lotus365

betting app, leading to the arrest of its mastermind.

According to sources,

Salim Khan opened at least 1,658 bank accounts using fake SIM cards from Assam,

West Bengal, and other regions of the country. The app, which has been endorsed

by several Bollywood celebrities, is believed to be connected to a Dubai-based

network. City police arrested Salim in connection with a fraud case, during

which his ties to an international cricket betting syndicate were revealed.

Police Commissioner

Ravinder Singal, along with Joint Commissioner Nisar Tamboli, Additional

Commissioner Sanjay Patil, and DCP Lohit Matani, said they are looking into

Salim’s connections as they investigate his large national network.
