Jabalpur, 22 October (HS): A massive explosion took place in the Ordnance Factory in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday morning. Two employees have died in the explosion in the Ordnance Factory located in Khamaria of the district, while about 13 employees have been seriously injured. It is being told that a fire broke out while boiling out the Pichiora bomb in the F6 section of the Ordnance Factory. At the time of the explosion, about 12 to 13 people were working in the building. All have been injured in the accident. Treatment of all the injured is going on.

An explosion took place in Building No. 201 of F6 section at 10:45 am on Tuesday morning in Ordnance Factory Khamaria. Thousands of Powder Bombs are produced in this building of the factory, which are used by the Indian Air Force. After the explosion, it felt as if an earthquake had occurred in an area of ​​about 5 km. People came out of their homes.

People living in Manegaon, Champanagar, Nanak Nagar also heard the sound of the explosion. The explosion was so strong that a part of the building collapsed. Many employees are feared to be buried under the debris. The death toll may increase.

At present, relief and rescue work is going on. The factory management has reached the spot and started investigation. After the explosion, one employee was missing, whose body has been found. At the same time, another employee died during treatment. When their condition became critical, employees named Randhir, Shyamlal and Chandan were referred to a private hospital. How did the explosion happen and whose negligence was it? An investigation has been started. Other officials including OFK GM are present at the spot. However, the officials are not sharing any information with the media right now. Cantt Assembly MLA Ashok Rohani has reached the hospital in Khamaria to see the injured. ,
