Nagaon (Assam), 18 October (HS): The dead body of a youth has been recovered from Bamuni of Kaliabar in Nagaon district. Police said on Friday that the body of the youth was found floating in the water of the pond.

The deceased has been identified as Deepak Chowtal, a resident of Bamuni. Police reached the spot, took the body in their custody and sent it to the hospital for post-mortem. It is suspected that the youth might have drowned while casting a net in the water.
