Pune, 17 Oct (HS):- A head clerk at the Directorate

of Prime Education was held while accepting a bribe of Rs 12,000 for clearing

grants under the RTE (Right to Education) scheme. The Anti-Corruption Bureau

held the clerk Sunita Ramkrishna Mane (46) red-handed while accepting the bribe

in the office premises.

She was arrested following a complaint received by

the ACB. The complainant was claiming grants of Rs 12.69000 under RTE for the

academic session 2023-24.
