Kamrup (Assam), 15 October (HS): Kamrup police arrested a woman drug peddler with heroin in a drive conducted at Rangia station on Tuesday.

During this raid conducted on the basis of secret information, the woman has been searched. During the search, 48 grams of heroin recovered in four soap boxes were seized from the woman's bag.

The police have started the legal process by registering an FIR against the arrested smuggler.
