NEW DELHI, 14 October (H.S.): There is a downward trend in the price of crude oil in the international
market amid the Israel-Iran war. Brent crude is around $ 79 per barrel and WTI
crude is around $ 75 per barrel. Public sector oil and gas marketing companies
have not made any change in the price of petrol and diesel on Monday.
In the international market, in the early trade on the first day of the
week, Brent crude is trending at $ 78.12 per barrel with a drop of $ 0.92 i.e.
1.16 percent. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude is trading at $ 75.73 per
barrel, down by $ 0.90 i.e. 1.19 percent.
According to Indian Oil, petrol is available in Delhi at Rs
94.72, diesel at Rs 87.62, petrol in Mumbai at Rs 104.21, diesel at Rs 92.15,
petrol in Kolkata at Rs 103.94, diesel at Rs 90.76, petrol in Chennai at Rs
100.75, diesel at Rs 92.34 per litre.
