NEW DELHI, 12 October (H.S.):After facing pressure for most of the time in Navratri, on the day of
Vijayadashami, the domestic bullion market has seen a bullish trend. The price
of gold has increased by Rs 700 to Rs 800 per 10 grams, whereas silver has jumped
by more than Rs 2 thousand per kg.
Due to the rise, 24 carat gold is trading in the range of Rs 77,560 to Rs
77,410 per 10 grams in most bullion markets of the country, and 22 carat gold
is being sold today between Rs 71,110 to Rs 70,960 per 10 grams. Silver is at
the level of Rs 96,100 per kg in the Delhi bullion market. In the country's
capital Delhi, 24 carat gold is trading at Rs 77,560 per 10 grams today, while
the price of 22 carat gold has been recorded at Rs 71,110 per 10 grams.
In country's financial capital Mumbai, 24 carat gold is being sold at Rs
77,410 per 10 grams and 22 carat gold at Rs 70,960 per 10 grams. In Ahmedabad,
the retail price of 24 carat gold has been recorded at Rs 77,460 per 10 grams
and the price of 22 carat gold at Rs 71,010 per 10 grams. Apart from these
major cities, 24 carat gold is being sold in Chennai at a price of Rs 77,410
per 10 grams and 22 carat gold at Rs 70,960 per 10 grams. In Kolkata, 24 carat
gold is trading at Rs 77,410 per 10 grams and 22 carat gold at Rs 70,960 per 10
grams.
