Stanford, 01 June (HS): Congress leader Rahul Gandhi supported India’s policy relating to bilateral relations with Russia.

Rahul Gandhi was addressing the students of Stanford College in California. He was asked about the reason for cordial relations with Russia even after the Russia-Ukraine war. Gandhi said that India’s relations with Russia are at different levels. He supported the Indian policy of maintaining relations with Russia despite pressure from the West.

He himself would have had the same stand, which the present government has, he added. India is a big country and will have to maintain good relations with other countries for its development, he said.
