Kathmandu, 04 September (H.S.): Nepal Prime Minister Balendra Shah, extending greetings to the people of the country on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, said that adversity and challenges test a person’s patience and commitment to duty.

In his greetings message posted on Facebook, Prime Minister Shah said that in such difficult times, performing one’s role with complete sincerity is the true Karma Yoga taught by Lord Krishna. He wrote, “Adversity and challenges come to test our patience and our commitment to duty. At such times, performing our role with complete sincerity is the true Karma Yoga taught by Lord Krishna.”

Prime Minister Shah wished that on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, everyone would receive the patience and strength to remain steadfast on the path of duty. His message came at a time when Nepal is grappling with a natural disaster, with relief and rescue operations continuing across the country.
